YOu’re invited this Sunday, 9:00 or 10:45 AM

You will find people like you who are friendly and genuinely eager to experience God. You don’t have to dress up to feel comfortable at New Life Church. Our gatherings last about 75 minutes. The music will have meaningful lyrics, and the real-life messages come right out of the Bible.

Children of all ages are welcome in the worship gathering with their parents. Or, they may participate in a Nursery, Preschool, and K-5 class designed for them.

Join a Life Group

New Life Church is built on Life Groups. They are the primary places where disciples grow together and apply the Word as they pray for and love one another. Life groups meet throughout the week in homes across the city.

Love YOUR neighbor

Our approach to outreach is neither passive nor heroic. We simply want to show up in people’s lives with the love of Jesus. We endeavor to be good neighbors, loving our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-39).

We often partner with other local groups in order to have a greater impact. Learn more about our Local Outreach.

We have sent several people overseas and support several others. Learn more about our Global Outreach.

Meet Our Campus Pastor

Scott Reavely

Campus Pastor

Scott came to New Life Church in 1986 when he and his wife, Marcia, relocated to West Linn to study at Western Seminary. New Life was the closest church to their apartment, so they attended the first Sunday they were in town. He has served in almost every role, currently as the Lead Pastor since 1993.

Scott began serving in ministry while he was in college. He led AWANA "Sparkies" and a College ministry. He found much more joy in ministry than he did in his pre-med studies! After getting his Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Montana State University, he moved to Portland to pursue ministry training. That led to three degrees, most recently a Doctor of Ministry from Western Seminary.

Scott and Marcia have five children and nine grandchildren. Scott started coaching youth sports when he was fifteen and has coached seven different sports since then. He serves on the Board of Trustees for Western Seminary where he also teaches as an adjunct.
