Everyone wants to make a difference in their lives. There is no more certain way to make a difference than to serve the Lord and his church. God tells us that our labor will never be in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58) The resurrection of Jesus all but guarantees that serving him will make a difference. We have listed some opportunities below to partner with New Life Church and make a difference. Hopefully, you can find something here that you will enjoy while you make a difference.
“As each of you has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength God supplies — in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 4:10-11

Do you notice when the sound is just right or when the lyrics on the screen match when we sing them?
Our gatherings depend on faithful people behind the scenes who help everyone hear, see, and engage.
No experience required. We’ll train you.

Love INC Support
Do you have a heart for caring for your community and helping people feel seen and heard? Neighbors in need reach out to Love INC every day — and caring volunteers make it possible to respond.
The Connection Center is a simple, meaningful way to serve.
Volunteers help by answering calls, checking in with neighbors, offering resources, and praying with those who need support.

Youth Groups
Was your faith shaped during middle school or high school? You can help the next generation experience the same.
Youth ministry offers an opportunity to walk alongside students as they navigate faith, friendships, and the challenges of being a teenager.
Serving opportunities are available during Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings.
To learn more, contact Pastor David Valencia.
Celebrate Recovery
Each Friday evening, people gather for Celebrate Recovery—a safe place to find community and freedom from life-controlling issues.
The evening begins with a shared meal. Meal support includes cooking for 15–25 people once or twice a month.
Supplies may be reimbursed, and one volunteer oversees each meal.
Interested in serving? Email Pastor Scott.
Global Outreach (G.O.) Team
Serve on the G.O. Team to help connect the church with our partners and build support for their work around the world. Or, talk to the G.O. Team about going yourself. Either way, this opportunity is in the sweet spot of the Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19-20) Contact Pastor Tim for more information.
New Life Kids
Our Nursery through Elementary School kids programs are always looking for more people who would like to serve in helping teach our youngest attenders about Jesus and His love for us. You can apply to serve and complete necessary training on our site by following this link.
West Linn Women’s Ministry
Women’s ministry offers simple ways to care for and connect with other women in the church. Two opportunities are available:
Hospitality
Help create welcoming spaces by assisting with set-up, tear-down, or food preparation for gatherings. This includes 1st Thursday Connects and other occasional events.
Side-by-Side Bible Reading
Come alongside another woman and read the Bible together. This is a relational way to build meaningful connections and grow in faith.
Serving is as available, and both opportunities are flexible.
